Started in 1999 in Casetta Elisabetta as “Art in the Garden,” the project has evolved over time to become the “Art Trail,” an annual event held on Easter days in the villages of Trarego and Cheglio.

The first official edition dates back to 2008, thanks to the collaboration with the local Pro Loco: seven homes and studios opened their doors, hosting over twenty artists.
Since then, the event has attracted thousands of visitors, transforming houses, courtyards, and outdoor spaces into a captivating exhibition trail.

The Art Trail is an immersive experience where art, history and atmosphere come together: selected works and site-specific installations dialogue with places, creating an exciting journey through memory, culture and creativity.

The symbol of the event is the “Woman in the Wind,” a figure that invites discovery and represents the wind as a metaphor for spirit and the origin of life.

On Sunday, April 5 and Monday, April 6, a free shuttle service will operate between Cannero Riviera and Trarego to facilitate the arrival of visitors to the Art Trail.
